National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources sponsored and mentored by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). It provides a variety of services tailored for the learner community, offering filtered and federated searching to streamline resource discovery efficiently. Students at school and college levels, job seekers, researchers, and general learners can benefit from the user group-specific services offered by NDLI.

Recognizing the diverse linguistic landscape of India, NDLI ensures accessibility by supporting ten widely used Indian languages in addition to English. Its inclusive design caters to learners at all academic levels, researchers, and individuals with various needs. As an initiative by the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, NDLI aims to facilitate knowledge sharing globally and empower individuals to leverage best practices.
